Basic Kankuama backpack , handwoven by the Kankuama community, one of the four main ethnic groups of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia. Each backpack reflects the rich tradition and skill of this indigenous community. Subsequently, it is embroidered with platimetal by a team of more than 25 artisans, single mothers located in various municipalities of the Coffee Region. This embroidery, done with platimetal, a material recognized for its resistance, flexibility and durability, ensures that each piece is of high quality and longevity, making it a unique and functional accessory.
